Sarah Shahi was an American actor best known as the star of Life, a television show. Shahi was the daughter of both a Spanish father as well as an Iranian mother. Her multi-cultural background allowed her to expand her perspective beyond geographical and religious beliefs. From a very young age, Shahi wanted to be an actress. At the age of eight, she began modeling. The actress was a regular performer in theater at both the college level and at school. Most likely, she is best known for her role in Prison Break on Fox (co-star Wentworth Miller), and Lori Grimes of AMC's The Walking Dead. Maxim magazine named her one of the "Hottest women" for the Fall 2008 season of television. Callies relocated to New York in 2003 and was soon offered her first role on television as Kate O'Malley, a recurring role on the long-running CBS show Queens Supreme. The role she played was Detective Jane Porter as part of The WB's Tarzan.
