Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born 13 June 1962 in America, is an actor. Her film debut was in Bad Boys (1983). Following that she enrolled in the Bratpack band and made appearances on screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award in 1998 as the most outstanding female lead. It was because of her performance in the role of Lisa Cholodenko in High Art. Ally Sheedy, an American writer and actress. Her film debut came through the crime film Bad Boys in the early 1980s, for which she was praised. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other popular actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. Her debut success led her to make an appearance in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama from 1985. John Hughes directed one of greatest films for high schools. The film cost less than $1,000,000 however it made more than 50 million dollars. As she worked on the show her first appearance on television was made with CBS Schoolbreak. It was a show for teenagers and began airing in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid, Hill Street Blues and Chicago Story are a few of the other shows on which she has appeared. Recent appearances of Sheedy include Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie about a hero where Sheedy appears as a guest. Sheedy has been recognized for her extraordinary performance, has won numerous awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' Silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
